"TikTok chases Amazon" is a bit of a stretch. TikTok has just decided they want to "run competitively". They are just starting out. When jobs they are looking to fill have goals to create "a new fulfillment service center from scratch" versus Amazon's decades of experience, infrastructure, and equipment, TikTok has a long way to go. It will be interesting to see what they do, but you have to run several 5K races before you can begin to compete against an experienced ultra-marathon runner.
