I am part of "everyone" and did not get child tax credits (no children), student loan forgiveness (no student loans), student loan payment cancellation (again, no student loans), etc. Yes, please go on. Maybe there is some other standard payment I should have received?
- phpisthebest 4y agoyour anecdote is not valid counter to my point in comparing a Person who has kids making 100K+ with a Person working a Job at Walmart making say 40K So if you would like to address my claims then I am all ears, but so far you have not done that
- rtp4me 4y agoNot trying to be argumentative here, but you seem really focused on "wealthy people" taking more from non-wealthy. Please see here: https://www.cnbc.com/2022/06/11/the-pandemic-stimulus-checks-were-a-big-experiment-did-it-work.html https://www.cnbc.com/2022/06/11/the-pandemic-stimulus-checks... Specifically, the end of the page has a table that shows what % of people received those stimulus checks. According to this table, 75% of the first stimulus checks were issued to people making less than $100K while only 11% making over $100K received checks. For the second stimulus, 76% making less than $100K got checks (versus 10% making over $100K). Similar numbers apply for the third stimulus. If you can find different evidence, please share. I would like to learn more...
