How do you secure your email and phone online?
personal email and phone are getting exposed online as lots of website data are breached. how do you protect your personal info and spam?

- gbertb 4y agouse multiple phone numbers (if you can) and simplelogin.com -- only give out your personal email and phone to close friends and family

- allanrbo 4y agoUse a separate email alias for everything you sign up for. I think Apple has something like this in their "sign in with Apple" product. Or it might be called "Hide My Email". Haven't used it though. Personally I use use this service (that I built) to easily make short aliases that are easy to read and type: https://ent.re/ https://ent.re/ .

- throwaway67743 4y agoEmail aliases, cycled mobile numbers (generally burners then ported to someone who can deliver Https SMS, but still answer like a real network so it works with WhatsApp etc)
- guptadeepak 4y agoNot many services accept VOIP phone numbers now a days, they need real mobile numbers.
