This is so nice because requiring the user to create an account is one of the biggest hurdles when you are trying to sell digital content. Ideally you would want the user to start perusing your content as soon as they open your website or app, but you have to make them create an account, because it's better to have that friction at the beginning than at the time they want to buy something from you. The friction of having to type in a password twice ruins everything. Most people use a single password for everything, likely their dog's name if they have one, the year they were born and 69 or 420 if their dog's name is short, because 8 characters is a lot. Don't even try to require 10 characters, half of your audience would stop trying to create an account.
