  Circular logic. Happiness is a better metric of how well the economy is producing happiness. GDP is is a better metric of how well the economy is producing products. This of course ignores the core questions of IF the economy produces happiness, CAN he economy produce happiness, and how the relationship might work.

    > how well the economy is producing happiness. This is what is being measured. It is the "real" progress happening in the economy. There's no circular logic, you can measure multiple things at once.

      Why do you say it is real? Economy is but one factor that maybe feeds into happiness.
