Idk. Here in eastern Europe the biggest online psyop perpetrator is Russia, and mainstream media are constantly telling about it, without any effect. The result is if you ask random ppl in the street about geopolitics, you can get hairy stuff like Putin should be our president, blaming Soros for everything, they want to destroy us by changing gender of our children and forcibly taking them for adoption to homosexuals and whatnot.
But what I wanted to know, what the psyop actually does? Is it aligned with fox news or against or?
- verisimi 4y agoThe psyop, all psyops, are different to what you think. It's not support for fox news. All media is just an arm of the governance structure. The point is to frame what people are concerned/think about, and to offer options that are not harmful to the governance structure. Politics, voting for Red or blue, is a great example of framing the conversation. Both parties appear to offer heartfelt, sincere differences, but are actually there to suck up people's energy and ensure it only goes where one way -> towards greater government. Vote blue or red and you have less rights, more restrictions, less power.... and that was the point all along.

But it does not automatically lead to more rights, less restrictions, more power (There is always a mobster class with more power, but I doubt that is what you want).
