- astrange 4y agoDon't the feds create the entire residential mortgage market in the first place through Fannie Mae? That's why we have flat-rate mortgages when other countries have ARMs. That one tax deduction doesn't matter, not when there's a shortage. It's already the most people can afford to pay.
