AC power was only a good idea when we didn’t know how to make good DC-to-DC voltage converters.

- sholladay 4y agoIncorrect. DC power travels better than AC at the same voltage. The problem, historically, is that we didn’t have good technology for changing DC voltage. That has changed in modern times.
