- wlonkly 4y agoThe article is in response to that tweet, and references a response from Lufthansa. In the face of two conflicting statements attributed to the same source, one possibility is to believe the primary source, but another is to believe the latest trustworthy source. If you consider The Points Guy to be trustworthy aviation journalism (which I do) then it's reasonable to believe Lufthansa's clarification in response to the tweet you linked.
