Running Vacuum Full in Non-Blocking Mode
- boesboes 4y agoMaybe I missing something, but I can't see a scenario where whis is useful. either you DB sees little traffic and vacuum mostly fine, or you do have traffic and you'll never complete a vacuum again? Running vacuum full locks the table, quickly cancelling the vacuum if you see a waiting query popup just means you vacuum tables that aren't used I suppose? For me at least I happy with pg_repack, even autovacuum kills our DB :P
