Erdoğan: "even the worst peace will be better than war." True that. Just not profitable as much, huh? On this other issue (not broached in article) I don't buy that as the only reason to delay resolution, as people sometime say. "Arms dealers" can make money during conflict, "construction firms" can make money during reconstruction. I don't buy that MIC / corporate money is the major motivating force for major conflicts these days...but it might be. I just think it's something else.
