- graderjs 4y agoErdoğan: "even the worst peace will be better than war." True that. Just not profitable as much, huh? On this other issue (not broached in article) I don't buy that as the only reason to delay resolution, as people sometime say. "Arms dealers" can make money during conflict, "construction firms" can make money during reconstruction. I don't buy that MIC / corporate money is the major motivating force for major conflicts these days...but it might be. I just think it's something else.
- aszantu 4y agothere are untapped oil reservoirs in the (baltic?) sea, if ukraine taps them (afaik they already made deals with some oil company (shell?)) then the war, i mean special military operation started
- beardyw 4y agort.com DNS blocked, at least by my ISP here in UK. I hadn't been aware of that.
- graderjs 4y agoI would provide you with an archive link, but I'm not confident the His Majesty's Government wouldn't arrest me in the UK for "circumventing" their information controls, based on what I saw about people being arrested for opinionated tweets, and their police posting about the same....
- beardyw 4y agoMy surprise was about it being blocked. I can get over not reading it. Apparently it was blocked some while ago but it not my go to news source. I guess the block is a political statement rather than a fear of UK citizens being brainwashed.
