Linvo-Scraper: LinkedIn Automation Bot
- raydiatian 4y agoDeleting my LinkedIn surprisingly was more rewarding than deleting my Facebook.
- 1letterunixname 4y ago:) I started FB beta in 2004 and deleted in 2010. I deleted my LI 2016. 2-3rd degree to 99% of who's-who in The Valley which made it essentially meaningless. Convo and engagement was basically none. It was 99% random recruiters and self-promo posts I didn't care about. Ironically, I now work at the former without having either of the above. I didn't even have a résumé as I was freelancing and doing side projects. Macro conditions changed and a hiring freeze happened officially recently, so the hiring pipeline, apart from sr engineering, dried up.
- raggi 4y agoCompany domain: $50/mo pricing for breaching the linkedin ToS and filling the platform with more spam. A 30% cash share affiliate program. Personal domain: get success quick "giving away my secrets" newsletter sign up, bold claims. Project: designed to virally spam on LinkedIn and dodge abuse protections. Repeated claims of safety, no disclaimer related to its reality. Flagged.
- 1letterunixname 4y agoHey, wasn't there a wink-wink LI insecure token login wall bypass around 10 years ago that made scraping easy if you knew how to get around it?
