PayPal expands terms of service to give themselves more ambiguous reasons to freeze your account and take your money. More news at 11. Seriously, PayPal's reputation has been ruined for over 10 years at this point. If this is your first indication to drop them, you're very far behind the curve.

About 20 years ago they closed my account without explanation freezing several thousand in funds, so yeah, definitely not new. In the aftermath I learned I was very much not alone and it was a common thing.
