Most Eastern European countries (most especially the Baltic states, Poland, and Moldova) are vehemently opposed to appeasement politics because they know that, if they let Putin have Ukraine, their own countries will be next on Russia's shopping list.
- votepaunchy 4y agoPoland and the Baltic states are members of NATO, and Russia will not be directly attacking NATO given the results of this proxy war.
- Gud 4y agoThe grandparent was arguing for a move away from USA/UK influence. Presumably that means leaving NATO.
