In my experience on iOS actually preventing taking the screenshot doesn’t happen though. The app just gets to know it happened and can notify the user of options. Many apps do this, including jodel. Sure, it’s annoying, especially if you want to take multiple screenshots in a row. Recording video of apps sometimes is blocked though. It would be lovely to get vector screenshots someday. That contain the static UI state of a given moment with as much semantics as possible.
