There's always something called as an Index fund. Which more or less tracks the top companies of a country. Unless you expect your country itself to go down, its generally a good lottery ticket to buy. I'd say just throw in some pocket change in places where you can afford to lose. You never know as the downside is nearly 0, the upside is in millions.
