They're just exposing internal scans "bag dropped off", "bag in X storage area", "bag loaded on tug train" and an abstracted "bag loaded on plane" which is probably just a single scan of the tug train barcode, much like USPS will scan bundles of mail instead of individual items. Every airline has this functionality internally. Even the really small ones. They just don't choose to publicize it.
