Mostly agreed, except > that would make a blockchain useful in the first place This is generally a matter of opinion :) But you are correct that it has a completely different security / trust posture compared to the underlying chain, so you can't simply say "ethereum works and solana works, therefor this bridge from ethereum to solana works"
