This is the part I don't understand. Are shareholders really that short-term minded? I agree with everything you've said btw. I've come to the realization that most companies have a very small percentage of people doing the heavy lifting and important work. Somehow they're never compensated in a way to reflect that. Brain drain will eventually catch up to you.
