I do this frequently when vacationing. A lot of thrift store CD stocks have been picked over in recent years, but with enough flipping I can frequently find something that maybe has a gold nugget on it. Then I rip it to my collection (currently about 1300 CDs worth). But I’m a bit surprised how the inventory has shrunk over the last 5 or 6 years. Cmon people, unload your old CDs at thrift stores! :)
