ive always wondered if it would be work learning the all 4ths tuning. seems like the guitar would be much easier to play if you dont need full bar chords. but it might be hard to switch back and forth between the all 4ths tunings and standard.
- wilsonnb3 4y agoI’ve wondered the same thing in the past, mainly because my primary instrument is the bass guitar which uses all fourths. Once you play guitar for long enough you will understand why that major third is there, though. A small compromise in the “logic” of the tuning gives you so much utility.
