Couldn't read the article. But what about significance? Sure there is a lot of talent around boring things, and I am thankful that there are. But it takes more than talent to demonstrate something of significance. How far out of the way do people have to go to find it? Someone with the right eyes, and having eyes also in their heads that can see in places no one else can, can revolutionize our understanding of the cosmos. And I think that's worth a million smackers at least.
