What do you think of my language learning app?
- jakeDevelops 4y agoHey, this language learning website lets you talk to an AI in another language to help you learn. Let me know what you think! PS: Please don't talk for too long, because I have limited computing power. I just want some feedback before I get more.
- devonnull 4y agoThe site really needs some instructions explaining how to use it. It's not really clear what's supposed to happen. Do I type something in the Say something (in English) field and click/tap *Say It*? Or do I click *Say It* and then speak? When I do the latter, an error message like this displays: Notice: Undefined offset: 1 in /home/u477137059/domains/oh-aha.com/public_html/kendasi/other-langs/chatter-de.php on line 68 As well, is the text at the top of the page supposed to be read to me automatically? Or is something else supposed to happen?
- jakeDevelops 4y agoNo you just read it. Also, you type something into the form, THEN click the "Say it" button.
- ksaj 4y agoI like the direction. Maybe at second level you could input your questions in Spanish (or whatever language you set). That way you add a step of writing in the same language once you've gotten reasonably good at reading the responses. Allow for mixed-in English words until the language improves enough to go full-on monolingual. That's how multilingual groups talk organically around each other anyway, so it's a nice progress.
