wow sounds terrible. I left mtg because I thought a new core set and 4x sets. ayear was too many. the cost to keep playing was not worth it, and the power creep really killed the enjoyment of the game for me. to think it is even worse now! F... I would love to just have magic go back to 1 core set a year, and an expansion to it 6 months later at most.
