Why? If the Danish taxpayer is going to subsidize my country's wind infrastructure, why should I stop them?
- jimmydorry 4y agoYou get short-term subsidised infrastructure at the cost of cutting off all future local R&D and local manufacturing capacity. For a small country, this is probably worth it. For a global behemoth? Probably not. Like all things in life, there are trade-offs, and allowing the decimation of local capability on what should be of national concern (energy security) was short-sighted at best.
