Political spam is out of control. Now Gmail is about to make it worse
- hirundo 4y agoSuch is the cost of "free". I de-gmailed over to fastmail, which isn't free, and isn't building wormholes into their perfectly adequate spam filter.
- f1shy 4y agoLask week there was a post about how bad gmail was, and many suggested fastmail as alternative... I'm seriously thinking about changing. This is another drop in the glas.
- CharlesW 4y agoI de-gmailed to iCloud Mail, and it's been working great. For anyone doing this, imapsync made this surprisingly painless! https://blah.cloud/miscellaneous/migrating-google-workspaces-to-icloud-custom-domain/ https://blah.cloud/miscellaneous/migrating-google-workspaces...
- kylehotchkiss 4y agoDoes this include paid google accounts too?
- rnk 4y agoGoogle, can you please put a special header or something to filter on so we can automatically delete this email, mark it as spam or trash it? Then you can satisfy the terrible demand on you but also not hurt your users.
- bdcravens 4y agoI donated money ONCE. I get tons of spam not only from the precise org I donated to, but from a variety of candidates spread all over the place. While I'm motivated to see them win, it makes no sense to me to donate to someone who I can't vote for.
