Are there other frameworks designed with edge deployment in mind?
- emschwartz 4y agohttps://remix.run/ https://remix.run/ and https://qwik.builder.io/ https://qwik.builder.io/ are two others. I believe that React Server components is also heading in that direction.
- quechimba 4y agoI'm making one in Ruby. It's kinda like React but it streams all the DOM-patches to the browser (about 3-4kB of JS in total) Clicking stuff feel instant due to being so close to the edge node. I've been working on this full time for three months now, gonna keep going because I think it's a good way to make web apps. Hot reloading is pretty awesome. Event handlers/callbacks are just RPC-calls so no need to make a REST API or anything like that.
