Why Elon Musk is right
- yetihehe 4y agoTL;DR - Putin and his environment is so insane that we should give him Crimea and parts of Ukraine or else he will nuke all of us. This could be good idea if he wasn't so insane, because if we give him parts of Ukraine (and let him have all his weapons and stockpiles and factories producing more weapons and now more resources to produce even more weapons) he will probably just try to recover and then attack more of Ukraine, because why not, it worked last time?
- NoPie 4y agoNo, he is not. In fact, Musk didn't even propose anything. He just asked if it would be a good plan. Noah Smith explains it much better why this plan is not going to work. https://twitter.com/Noahpinion/status/1577120229942910978 https://twitter.com/Noahpinion/status/1577120229942910978 “Americans who come up with peace plans for Ukraine are just groping for the illusion of control in a scary and uncontrollable situation. The truth is that Putin has no interest in any such plan, and that it's his decision whether to keep escalating.”
