The scandals and hypocrisy behind McKinsey’s sterling reputation
- LatteLazy 4y ago>McKinsey claims to serve 90 of the world’s 100 largest companies in addition to a host of prominent governments and institutions. >The authors expose the firm’s unsavory work with fossil fuel companies, cigarette-makers, opioid distributors, regulatory agencies and autocratic regimes. So the author "exposes" what McKinsey themselves openly advertise? Who do they think the world's largest companies and governments are!? As well as that they were hypothetical. Like everyone and every large organization. This is just a huge nothing.

- elliekelly 4y agoThere’s a photo of the book cover that disrupts the article but it continues beyond that paragraph. The section you’re quoting from makes it pretty clear they’re describing how *McKinsey* holds themselves out to the world. A paragraph or two later they get into the things that McKinsey isn’t so keen to advertise.
