Intel Arc Graphics A750 and A770 Linux Gaming Performance
- Tsiklon 4y agoThis isn’t as bad as I expected - I’m very pleased to see a full featured open source graphics driver stack too. I really hope Intel give the Arc series the long term developmental support this platform needs to mature. I expect the performance to improve with time, much like the older AMD 7900 series cards did.
- doodlesdev 4y agoCould the problems with these GPUs when playing older games with older DirectX versions be solved by using DXVK as a shim around Direct to try and make use of the better performance in Vulkan? My experience is that it works pretty well in most games, specially older ones, so I can see this being a potential solution to this new architecture.
