Some parts of SA are pretty high crime. Id imagine they have high security in place. Many of my friends there have electric fences and walls around their homes and have still been robbed at gun point.
- koheripbal 4y agoThe biggest risk is the government. In that way, South Africa is the only choice. ...and even that one is not so great so I suspect they will limit their footprint.
- dehrmann 4y agoWhen you're about to drop $1B on a data center, you better make damn sure it's somewhere where the government won't hassle you or raid it.
- hotz 4y agoTo be fair, everywhere is high crime. The world in general is less safe than what we're use to.
