I am not sure I am joking. Because on the other hand open source is exploited by big monopolist corporations such as Microsoft and Google. GitHub sits on top of millions of hours worth of free labour and was sold for billions. Android open source effectively creates a mould around Google’s ad based monopoly business where other businesses creating mobile operating systems have to compete with something given away for “free”. Plus plenty of other examples.
