The final proof of how institutionally removed from reality are the dreaming incompetent elites of EU. However, more importantly, there is no excuse not to see that any state central planned idiocy has the same roots, causes, and effects/results. Sure, private sector is also planned but they have a hard-core reality check in terms of being economic (at least some who are removed the wickedness of lobbying for state favoritism). This brings memories of all the USSR style stories/books/movies from 50-90ties of comical inefficiency, bureaucratic paralysis, and faking of everything post-fact (statistics, narratives, etc). There are entire libraries documenting idiocy of such practices, its detrimental effects on economy as well as environment. I do not see (as expected) no assessment nor processes for basic feedback to reality how to metric the original goals, and unintended effects (which dominate). It seems that there is no choice, I was born in communism and will die in communism, with completely predictable outcome. Laugh because its funny and cry because its true.
