Wasn't his complaint about Twitter being filled with bots? True or not, how does he have any control over that?
- chrismartin 4y agoI got the impression (from people more wonkish than me) that he attempted to beat up Twitter's valuation / stock price in order to negotiate a discount, and when that failed, the bot prevalence accusations (true or not) were a pretext to back out of a purchase that he doesn't want to make for other reasons. From there I took a few liberties for a laugh, apologies if it didn't land.
