The capital required to automate a lot of these jobs is declining and wages are rising, at some point they're going to intersect. It seems disingenuous to say, on the one hand, "tech is going to disrupt industries and people just need to deal with it" but on the other hand "education to acquire higher skills should be restricted to the elite few."
