I use my high school calculus every day since 30 years intuitively, knowing how things relate to each other through differentiation and integration helps me so much to model the world around me correctly. Having a good mental model about how distance, speed and acceleration relate to each other is just one example, and it's not obvious if you don't know the foundations of calculus.
