I doubt that there is no other ways (e.g. lower cost, more effective) to weightlift for your brain than learning calculus. Also, the professor has a conflict of interest here (e.g. making calculus sound important because he teaches calculus). It's like me holding a shit coin and pumping it up, but yeah let's ignore that conflict of interest.
