- justapassenger 4y agoSame with many tech problems TBH. People are still waiting for their robotaxis.
- ergocoder 4y agoThey are also the problems (e.g. robotaxis, ukraine-russia conflict) that nobody on earth can solve.
- SketchySeaBeast 4y agoMost are wise enough to know that.
- iLoveOncall 4y agoHave you seen the content of the text messages between him and his brother (and Twitter's CEO) that have surfaced recently? [1] He claimed he had been coding for 20 years but it was painfully obvious he was clueless and was just dropping buzzwords. Ridiculous. He knows nothing about tech. - memish 4y agoHe coded and released a game when he was a kid. John Carmack: "Elon is definitely an engineer. He is deeply involved with technical decisions at spacex and Tesla. He doesn’t write code or do CAD today, but he is perfectly capable of doing so."
- iLoveOncall 4y agoSure, and he probably had a real time database stored all in memory in his game.
- awb 4y agoBased on his texts to Parag, he’s a self declared “heavy duty programmer” that works best with other “hardcore programmers”, so maybe his codebase is all caps, who knows.
