- ghaff 4y agoAlthough a lot of it probably isn't classic programming in isolation. I happened to be looking at my undergrad's course catalog a few months back for some reason. I was really struck by the number of non-CS engineering and science degrees that are basically something like Chemistry + Computers. This has long been true to some limited degree; I took a FORTRAN course as part of my mechanical engineering degree (though that was pretty much the only time I touched a computer undergrad). But it's certainly much more pronounced today.
