Serverless "pay for usage" is different than the fixed-size dedicated cluster pricing model, and can be quite a bit cheaper, especially with spiky query traffic. It should also be more reliable, since you don't have to predict and provision capacity for your peak usage ahead of time. Disclaimer: I work for ClickHouse.
