For years I paid for “unlimited” LAMP shared hosting from one of the many providers for about $150 a year. This was great for hosting personal stuff, side projects, proof of concepts, etc. Recently I started rebuilding some stuff in React/Python and went with Heroku for my backend (before they announced they’re ending the free tier). Professionally I’ve used both AWS and GCP for real/big stuff but I’d love to pay $150 a year for a “personal” instance that has predictable billing at the expense of “pro” feature/uptime. Where are the PaaS flat rate providers for hobby stuff?
