- BigglesZX 4y agoI've been waiting to make this same move but holding back because DOAP isn't quite as featureful yet, e.g. not supporting scheduled jobs, which for some reason ALL my Heroku-based projects use in some way.
- hankchinaski 4y agoFor scheduled jobs right now is a pita I expose HTTP endpoints which I call from an outside service on a scheduled basis
- nicoburns 4y agoHow have you found reliability/uptime on DO?
- hankchinaski 4y agoAn order of magnitude better than heroku
- pglombardo 4y agoI'm considering the same for https://pwpush.com https://pwpush.com. Currently on paid Heroku ($59/month) with a lot of traffic. DO App Platform is better than last year but still a bit quirky. I haven't found a better alternative that is more 1) mature, 2) reliable, 3) paid/supported, 4) enough features.
- nomilk 4y agoAfter clicking the link to pwpush.com I had a recollection of the splash page.. Seems we've met before! https://gist.github.com/stevecondylios/16a53b73f22621e3cde2e17096dbf5ca?permalink_comment_id=3912839#gistcomment-3912839 https://gist.github.com/stevecondylios/16a53b73f22621e3cde2e... Awesome to hear Password Pusher is going very well :)
- pglombardo 4y agoAh that's great. I still use that Feedback form too :-)
