Can you tell me more about your configuration? On my Mac, at least, the site is quite legible in both light and dark mode. The main thing I'm wondering is what font is being picked up. On my Mac, I see Georgia... maybe it's just when it switches to Times or 'serif'?
- lioeters 4y agoText looks fine to me, Firefox on macOS. Perhaps you could make use of the "system font stack", which might fall back to a decent Serif font on other OSes. https://systemfontstack.com/ https://systemfontstack.com/
- LeifCarrotson 4y agoIt's the 'serif', I'm on Ubuntu 22.04 with neither Georgia nor Times installed. Here's a screenshot at 100% zoom: https://i.imgur.com/xdMq8SJ.png https://i.imgur.com/xdMq8SJ.png and here's a screenshot at 150%: https://i.imgur.com/hKcCBo7.png https://i.imgur.com/hKcCBo7.png I do see something funny going on with the ligature for 'ff' in "different vendors" and "official retailers, " especially at 100%. Running `fc-match serif` says that the fault being picked up is DejaVu Serif [0] [0] https://dejavu-fonts.github.io/Samples.html https://dejavu-fonts.github.io/Samples.html
- geerlingguy 4y agoOh wow, that's bad! I guess I haven't tested in FF on Linux recently, but I just updated to default to Helvetica/Arial/sans-serif, and in my quick peek from Ubuntu it seems to look a bit nicer now.
