I just looked up some GraphQL startups funding on Crunchbase
- Apollo GraphQL: $183.2M
- Hasura: $136.5M
- The Guild: $48M
- Stellate: $30M
Can't believe the numbers. Is the problem they are solving really that big? What’s the investor’s motivation?
- dtagames 4y agoClickbaty question. Blockchains and query languages (the QL in GraphQL) are not related technologies. Graph QL is just a method of querying SQL databases. Many databases aren't even SQL anymore. Meanwhile, money can be made from many database-related technologies without involving a blockchain.
