During COVID my wife and I decided to pack up our lives in NYC, move home, and bring work with us. A few months later my parents _bought the house next to ours_, and our lives are incredible: We support each other and enrich each other's lives, we feel like we've made incredible leaps in our relationships. We now have a kid on the way and my parents are ecstatic to be so close to us as we start this next chapter of our lives. None of this would be possible without the ability to be remote.
