put Unraid on an old pc a few months ago. it runs backups for all the macs. photo storage, pi-hole and a bunch of home automation stuff.
the vm/docker support is nice, not much messing around with configs and the ease of setting up an sdd cache drive was great and makes a huuuge difference.
