I agree and that is why we have build Norse https://github.com/norse/norse https://github.com/norse/norse an open source deep learning library for neuromorphic computing based on PyTorch. It doesn’t have any commercial backing yet, but we had quite a bit of interest in from other research groups and it predates Lava by quite a bit .
