A lot of sellers (especially small sites) use them. I just bought a knitting pattern and the only option was PayPal. I only use them when I have to; I recently had some money waiting for me. When I tapped “accept the money”, PayPal wanted me to sign up for a crypto account with them (!). Later I noticed that there are two identical “accept money” dialogs. The one to send the money to my bank account was down the page, out of sight. I wonder how many have been suckered into signing up for a crypto account with PayPal because of this?
