People had two years to learn all sorts of things and that should have included management. Those that learned will move forward. Those that didn’t will wonder what to do with all those buggy whips. People wanted boomers to go away and many did (you’re welcome). The older end of the workforce are taking the jobs that opened up. This, probably, drags the entire workforce up the ladder. So the problem is entry level and scut work. There are new things like Amazon warehouses and delivery services to siphon off these people. Birth-rates were also lower so there’s probably fewer candidates.. Just reach into your cash drawer and make it worth people’s while.
